Weekend Previews

This weekend was my last weekend for full shoots this year. I am having a hard time believing that Xmas shoots start next weekend and then I am done for the remainder of the year! Is anyone else in a state of shock over how fast this year has flown by?

I had 2 of the best sessions this past weekend though to end on.  First up, another one of my fun and gorgeous seniors-carly. Seriously, how gorgeous is she? I'm torn on the regular and the black and white. I love them both!

And my very last family session was with my friend Angie and her stunner of a family. Not only are all 5 of them gorgeous, we found the most gorgeous hazy light at the end of our session.  All of my favorite shots are from there, I wish we had found this spot sooner. I am going to post the family ones later on my blog, but I have to share this one first. I LOVE IT! It's so hard to get mom and dad to take pictures of just them during family shoots, but when they do, and you are able to catch them being Husband and Wife vs Mom and Dad...it makes for a beautiful picture!

Melissa's Fall Senior Pictures

Last week I met up with Melissa and her best friend Lindsay for a fun, fall senior shoot. Melissa wanted to go back to her elementary school for our shoot, a first for me, and I loved it!! Between the amazing fall weather, crunchy leaves on the ground and her super adorable fall jackets and clothes, her pictures look like a back to school ad! I love them all and am so excited for our spring shoot next year.

I Heart challenge-A Touch of Sun

The Girl Scout Song..."Make new friends, but keep the old, some are silver and the other's gold"...ran through my head when I was uploading this one.  Haley & chandler, 2 of my favorite 2012 seniors, are both about to turn 18 in a few weeks. They wanted a fun, 18th birthday/ best friend shoot. These gorgeous girls have been best friends and inseparable since junior high. After a day full of rainy shoots, I was happy to end my day with this "golden" shot.

What did you do this weekend.....

My weekend was busy, busy, busy.  The girls went out of town with their grandparents so I took advantage and scheduled a lot of shoots. I'm trying to find a good work/home balance and not work every night and weekend.  I'm amazed at how fast the summer went by and how few things on our summer to do list we were able to do.  Here are a few of my favorites from this weekend.

Yep...all in 1 week! lol It's been a little insane around here but I am determined not to fall behind on my blogging duties again.  Right now I am in major editing mode though so pop back in next week when I am all caught up. :)
