Maria & Matt- Engagement Session
I was so excited to shoot my very first engagement session a few weeks ago. Not only are Matt and Maria, an amazing couple, so gorgeous, photogenic and so much fun to be around, but Maria is an old, old friend of the family. With the help of facebook we have been able to reconnect and I've watched her relationship with Matt begin, grow and start their new adventure together. Just look at this two...so in love...it's no wonder all of their Engagement pictures are so beautiful and amazing...if I do say so myself :)
Happy Birthday Nora!
Fun and feisty, loving and wild....all of these describe sweet Nora. Newly 2 year old to one of my oldest friends, and the little girl that I watch 4 days a week. With the help of some Smarties, I was able to keep her smiling long enough to get a few 2nd birthday pictures for her momma.

Updating the blog
I am so behind on my blog. My poor, always neglected blog.
But I am in the process of updating so pop back in soon and maybe, just maybe I'll finally have it up to date for longer than a week. Doubtful, but here's hoping. :)
For now, please take a look at the tabs I posted up top. There are more pictures under each of those tabs.

Ihc-Pet Week
This week's entry is Pet Week and I had to share this quick snapshot of Georgia and Isabella. I love how the focus ended up on Georgia and I'm pretty sure that's a dog smile right there too! Head on over to look at the rest of the adorable pets featured this week.

Ihc-Beautiful Eyes
Well here it is 2 weeks later and I still haven't found the time to update the blog. School started back up today and as if we werent' busy enough last week, we had to throw in a possible case of appendicitis and a broken foot. Thankfully, it was just a really nasty virus and a bruised bone. My hair is almost completely grey now thanks to these girls of mine. ;)
We did manage to spend 1 of our last days of summer vacation enjoying the amazing 80 degree weather we have been having. We spent a day down at the city garden running through the sprinklers, playing in the waterfall and then made a quick stop for some snowcones on the way home. I brought my Godson along with us. He wasn't too fond of the water but did humor me and let me get an updated picture of him. When I read that this week's entry was Beautiful Eyes, I had to submit this one. Just look at this handsome little man. I could eat him up I love him so!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
My friend and former coworker Pam emailed me about setting up a shoot with her and her 2 daughters. It's been almost 4 years now since we have worked together and I can not believe how much these girls have grown. The last time I saw Victoria, she was a little younger than my oldest is now. Now she is in junior high and just skipped right over that awkward phase I remember so well from my days back then.
Her younger sister Eleanor was just an itty bitty thing 4 years ago. She used to always visit us in the office and I swear her little head would barely peek over the top of my desk. Now she's heading towards those tween years and just as beautiful as her older sister. And those freckles...1 word....ADORABLE!!!!
From the 1st minute I caught back up with Pam and the girls, it was easy to see that the amazing mother/daughter bond they all share was still there though. The 3 of them spent our whole shoot just cracking each other up and really enjoying their time together.
Even though I left a little sad seeing how fast these beautiful girls are growing up, it was so fun reconnecting with old friends! Hopefully we'll get to do it again before another 4 years goes by! Thanks Pam, Victoria and Eleanor.
