The other day, Aubrey said she wanted to play mommy.  I wasnt' really sure what that meant until she came in with her camera and told me SHE was in charge for a change. lol

I had a "LOVE-LY" Saturday in the studio with all of these cuties.  Seriously, it's so hard not to LOVE what I do when I get to work with cute kids like these every week.

My gorgeous friend Katie, her husband Gavin and soon to be big brother Conley, are all excited about Miss Emma's soon to be arrival!  Conley has been busy prepping to be a big brother and couldn't be more thrilled about helping Mom change dirty diapers....well maybe not that. :) But he said he is going to hold the baby, love the baby, and rock the baby.  Sounds like a perfect big brother to me!

Back to the grindstone....

It's official...the holidays are over.  7 shoots this weekend proved that things are back to normal around here. :)  Here are some sneak peeks from my weekend.

The winning votes are in, and my oh my, was it close!!!

Swooping in with 188 votes is our 3rd place winner and winner of a $25 print or shoot credit.  A big congratulations to Kim and her gorgeous girls for this super sweet, mother/daughter photo! I had joked on facebook that they deserved some type of bonus points, and had I really been able to do that, I would have. You may have remember from my post about this shoot, that it was over 103 degrees outside at 7 p.m.! Seriously, who looks this good in that kind of heat??? Not the girl behind the camera that's for sure.

Coming in at a CLOSE 2nd, did I mention again how close the top 3 finalists were?? With 193 votes, Andrea and Danny..who also happen to have the winning shot of the week for this week too.  I have already gone on and on about how much I love this picture, but I'll say it again...I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this one! We are getting ready to make an office for myself, complete with my favorite images, and you can bet this one is going up there.

And the #1 most liked picture of 2011 goes to......

Okay, I'll tell you.....

Miss Kennedy!!! Coming in with 219 votes and more comments than all the participants put together is this sweet fashionista Kennedy!! Who I am so excited to announce already has an appointment set in 2 weeks for my Valentine's shoot. I am dying to see her again!!! She hammed it up for our whole shoot and I only hope that she works it that hard for my camera again!  Congratulations Kennedy, your infectious laugh and smile definitely stole the show :)

Happy 1st Birthday Carly!!

I can not believe 9 months has gone by so fast. Today I had the privilege of shooting sweet Carly's 1 year pictures.  Carly and Abby (featured right under this post) were my first 2 models, 9 months ago when I started TH Photography & Design.  Their sessions were actually back to back and I was on 1 foot for the whole shoot due to a clumsy accident at the park during spring break.  But, after shooting their newborn and 3 month pictures, I was hooked...and voila...9 months later, here we are :)

But back to Miss Carly.  How adorable is she?  Those sweet, long, eyelashes and those big blue eyes get me every time.

But dont' let these first two photos fool you, little missy is definitely an on the go 1 year old now...

Happy 1st birthday sweet girl.  I hope your day was as fun and sweet as you!

Abby & Lily-in Studio

You might remember these sweet sisters from some of my earlier posts.  Their momma and I are great friends, so I am fortunate enough to not only watch them grow up, but get to document it on film as well.  Err...disks...I guess is the right word now :) 

But whatever you shoot with, it's just important to make sure you do it often.  Its' amazing how fast kids grow up and change.  Here are the girls just a few months ago... Abby, 3 mths and Lily 2.5....

And just a few months later...look how much they have changed!!

Happy 3rd birthday to Miss Lily and a happy 9 months to Abby...can't wait to see you in a few months for your big 1 year shoot!
